Keeping a floor in good condition is essential for the enrichment of a space and promoting a welcoming environment.
At NEUCE, we produce varnishes that protect your floors against daily aggressions, keeping the nobility of wood and a distinctive glow.

Use a high resistance varnish developed specifically for flooring. Neucedur, water based, is odorless and allows you two levels of brightness: Bright and Medium Gloss.
Remove the furniture and carpets.
Keep doors and windows closed until the paint dries completely, thus preventing any dust from entering and sticking to varnish before it is dry, causing surface defects.
New floors:

Sand the surface with medium grit sandpaper in the direction of the wood grain to remove any imperfections.
Cover the fissures using a mixture of sawdust with glue or mastic suitable for the purpose.
After the fissures have dried, sand it again to even out the surface.

For previously varnished floors:

If the floor is in good condition, wash it and remove traces of fats caused by cleaning and maintenance.
Sand evenly with fine grit sandpaper in the direction of the wood grain to remove the brightness of the previous layer of varnish.
If the surface is in poor condition or waxed, completely remove the wax or varnish beforehand with the aid of coarse or medium sand paper, continue sanding with a medium grain so as to remove or minimize any possible stains or mold contamination.

After sanding:

First vacuum and then wipe down with a damp cloth so as to completely remove the sanding dust.
Let the surface dry completely before varnishing.
Apply Neucedur using a brush or roller in the direction of the wood grain
Start from a far off corner from the exit you will use. First, lacquer along the walls towards the middle and in the direction of the exit.
Respect the drying times and the intervals between coats, as instructed on the product datasheet.
Lightly sand between coats and remove the resulting dust with a damp cloth.
Wash the accessories thoroughly with water and let them dry completely before storing.
Store varnish remnants in a tightly closed container and in a place protected from direct sunlight and away from humidity and heat sources.
Recycle or reuse the materials used in the protection and insulation of areas and place the empty containers in the appropriate recycle bins..
