Interior Doors and Windows
  • bg

The wood of the doors, windows and baseboards should be preserved in order to maintain its original beauty, and so contribute to comfortable ambiences with quality.
NEUCE varnishes offer a diverse range of gloss, tailored to your taste.
For indoors, choose a new generation of varnish with unscented aqueous base which is easy to apply; choose NEUCEáQUA or WOODNEUCE INCOLOR, ideal for varnishing in poorly ventilated areas.
If you prefer to use a traditional synthetic varnish, choose NEUCELAC, as it guarantees excellent resistance and lacquer.
If possible, remove the doors and windows and varnish them in a ventilated but dust-free area which is more suitable for the task.
Remove the handles and insulate the hinges with tape.
Insulate the areas around the surface of the paint.
Protect the floor with plastic or paper.
1 - The surface must be dry, degreased and free of splinters and irregularities. Use medium-grit sandpaper to smooth the surface.
Apply a coat of primer Neucepor-pore fillers to seal the wood pores.
You can varnish with Neuceáqua or Neucelac as the two ensure good protection and lacquering both outside and inside, maintaining the natural look of wood.
If you use Woodneuce, apply it directly to the wood without using pore fillers as it is a lasur and, as such, acts by impregnation.
Lightly sand between coats in the direction of the wood grain with medium grit sandpaper, then wipe down with a damp cloth to remove sanding dust.
Sand the surface with medium grit sandpaper, always in the direction of the grain of the wood in order to remove the shine and allow for good adhesion of the new coat of varnish.
Make sure the surface is thoroughly dried and then varnish with NEUCEáQUA or NEUCELAC, lightly sanding between coats.
If you prefer to apply WOODNEUCE, ensure that the first sanding completely removes the previous varnish.
Gently clean the wood after each sanding, removing the sanding dust with the help of a brush and a damp cloth.
Always apply coats in the direction of the wood grain, so that a better coverage is possible, excesses of varnish are avoided, and brushstrokes are unseen.
A properly thinned varnish is easy to apply and spread. Respect the instructions on the product data sheet.
Keep windows and doors open to dry completely and prevent sticking.
Wash the accessories thoroughly with soap and water if using NEUCEáQUA or WOODNEUCE, or with NITRO CELLULOSE THINNER if using NEUCELAC. Let them dry thoroughly before storing.
Keep varnish remnants stored in a tightly closed container, in a place protected from direct sunlight and away from humidity and heat sources.
Recycle or reuse the materials used for the protection and insulation of areas and place them in the empty containers in the appropriate recycle bin.
