Wash the accessories with soapy water and let them dry thoroughly before storing.
Store the leftover paint, keeping the container tightly closed and in a place protected from direct sunlight and humidity.
Recycle or reuse the materials used in the protection and insulation of areas, and place the empty containers in the appropriate recycle bin.
First paint the ceiling with the help of a ladder or an extender.
Using a paint brush, paint the angles of the walls, around the door and window frames, and along the baseboards.
Continue painting larger areas with the roller.
If you also wish to paint the doors, windows and baseboards, do so after painting the walls and ceilings, finishing with the baseboards.
Remove remnants of loose, old paint, repair cracks and level the surface. Respect the drying times of the paste. Use TAP RAP for repairing cracks and for leveling.
Clean walls and ceilings, ensure they are dry and free of dust.
In case of first paints or walls with stains, apply a water-based primer to ensure good adhesion and good coverage of the paint. Ensure you use the right primer for the surface being painted.
Before painting, choose the product most suited to the finish or surface to be painted.
If you only wish to paint the ceiling, you can choose a paint that prevents undesirable splashing - NEUCELITE when painting ceilings.
Did you know that there are specific paints for plasterboard which ensure good coverage of the seams and attachment points, so that they are not seen even after being painted? Try NEUCEPLAD for plasterboard walls and ceilings that are newly painted.
Decide on which finish you want for your wall; a matte finish (BELNEUCE, NEUCEBEL or NEUCEGOLD), silky (NEUCESOFT) or satin (SUVENIL).
If your wall is subject to careless actions such as handprints or fingerprints, choose a paint which is easier to wash and with a good scrub resistance, choose Neucegold, Neucesoft ou Suvenil.
Before painting, please read the information and instructions on the packaging and on the product datasheet.
Move the furniture so as to be able to work in a more comfortable and safer area, and cover the furniture with plastic.
